Senior Backend Engineer

The short version

Own the services behind wallet, bonusing and game aggregation for 26 operator brands across 13 markets.

Our platform moves real money for real operators, at a volume where a 200ms regression is a support queue by lunchtime. You will work on the parts where correctness is not negotiable.

What you would own

• Design and ship services in the wallet and bonus engine — the code path every spin, deposit and payout goes through.
• Own integrations with game providers and payment processors end to end, from the contract review to the production runbook.
• Bring latency and failure budgets down: profiling, query plans, caching strategy, queue topology.
• Review code from four other engineers and make the review something they look forward to.
• Carry the on-call pager one week in six, with a rota that respects it.

What we are looking for

• 5+ years building production backend services, at least two of them owning something with money or state that cannot be lost.
• Deep PHP (Laravel) or a strong case for why your other backend language transfers — we care about the reasoning, not the syntax.
• Relational database fluency past ORM defaults: indexes, isolation levels, deadlocks, migrations that do not lock a hot table.
• Comfortable with queues, idempotency and retry semantics in a distributed system.
• You can explain a design trade-off to a non-engineer without flattening it.

Nice, not necessary

Missing all of these has never cost anyone an offer here.

• iGaming, payments, trading or another regulated, high-throughput domain.
• Experience with provider or aggregator integrations at scale.
• Go or Rust for the services where PHP stops being the right answer.
• Hebrew, Russian or Ukrainian — useful across the team, never required.
